About a month ago I went on a trip with a couple of my friends to Florida. We explored some parks and encountered different types of wildlife that you definitely don't encounter in the Midwest. To be honest, this was the first time I've taken my camera along to take some travel shots in the US. Typically I've taken my camera with me when traveling out of the country but never considered the aspect of photographing in my own country. I feel that sometimes I might take for granted the beauty that we are so immune to seeing because we see it everyday or are "used to" seeing it. That was the biggest lesson I learned on my trip because there was so much to photograph. Now I've learned to open my eyes to any possibilities.
